What is the ISIA World Forum?

The ISIA World Forum is the event for the professional snow sport instructors' associations worldwide  to discuss and experience changes and developments in snow sport teaching. For five days, snow sport professionals from the 37 ISIA member nations and international representatives from the snow sport industry, ski resorts, authorities, snow sport schools as well as snow sport instructors will meet for discussions, workshops and competitions.

The ISIA World Forum will provide an even better understanding of the challenges of future snow sport lessons and show new practical solutions. At the ISIA World Forum, the ski instructors world champions will also be crowned in the team categories "Teaching", "Performance" and "Race".

Who can participate?

ISIA member nations will register their delegations for the ISIA World Forum. The delegations should include representatives from the entire national winter sports network: Association representatives, instructors, ski school directors, ski instructors, representatives from the mountain cable car industry, tourism industry, politics or the winter sports industry. The individual delegations also include the experts who will present a workshop topic as well as the members of the teams who will participate in the show and the parallel team race and compete for the medals.

Location 3 Zinnen Dolomites

The location of the first ISIA World Forum will be the ski region 3 Zinnen Dolomites - 5 connected ski mountains, 115 kilometres of pistes, 31 lifts.
The event is a joint project of Snowsport Südtirol, 3 Zinnen AG and the local ski school Sextner Dolomiten.
In addition, a school project is being set up for the catering area of the event with the Bruneck Hotel Management School as part of its "Event Management" subject. This gives students the opportunity to gain valuable experience and enrich the event.
